I made this for myself to use, but there aren’t a lot of free-to-use skunk bases out there, and I also want to make more bases to upload in the future. So yeah! Here I am.

If you are coming from my DeviantArt post, thanks for checking this out.

You can:

  • Edit the lineart
  • Move my watermark
  • Add your own watermark
  • Add accessories, clothes, etc.
  • Use for yourself, commissions, adopts, and similar things

You cannot:

  • Make inappropriate (NSFW) edits
  • Delete, hide, or obstruct my watermark from view
  • Claim it as your own artwork

There are a few extra things I added to make things a little easier. Highlights for the nose and eyes, and feminine features like eyelashes and a bigger chest. All of the layers are labeled and most of them are inside of folders to keep things organized. For the extra features, they are in folders that have been hidden. There are separate layers for the head, face, torso, limbs, and tail for easier use of clipping layers. I meant to separate the line art as well, but I forgot while I was drawing, sorry about that. The lines definitely aren’t perfect either, and you might find mistakes.

If you aren’t familiar with using clipping masks or layer tools in general, here’s how:

  1. Open the layers window (3 squares stacked together, bottom right)
  2. Click on the layer you want to color on (If it is a folder it will show a folder icon on the preview image. Click that and it will open the folder. Then you will be able to select a layer inside the folder)
  3. Once you have selected the right layer, click the plus button to add another. It should add it above the folder you selected before. If not, move it so that it is.
  4. Select the new layer you just put above the first layer, and click the clipping button. The icon is an arrow pointing to the left, and then down.
  5. Now if you color on the layer with clipping enabled, it will only show up where you have colored on the layer below it.

If that doesn’t help, you can send a support email to me, and there are also many good tutorials you can find online.

Don’t use ibisPaint? Don’t worry. You also get both the male and female versions as image files.

If you do use this I’d love to see what you use it for! Share it to me, tag me in the post, whatever you need to do. Just let me know. You can also send a picture to my support email.
